Mandatory Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking courses - new dates added

All staff must complete the Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking course. If you have not completed a course, please read on for details of additional course dates.

There are three courses available to accommodate varied staff roles within the council. Please enrol in the course that is relevant to you. 

E-learning course on eCentral
Those employees who either do not have any contact with the public in their role, or those whose role may bring them into contact with the public but does not involve providing direct support to them while delivering other services (Tier 2 employees) – please complete the e-learning course on eCentral.

Half-day face to face course
Those employees who work predominantly with the public including children, young people, families and vulnerable adults and whose service provides direct support (Tier 3 employees), please complete the half-day face to face course.

Full-day face to face course
Frontline employees who work predominantly with the public including children, families and vulnerable adults, including those have specialist safeguarding responsibilities and operational managers of frontline staff who will be completing the victim referral to the National Referral Mechanism (Tier 4 employees) – please complete the full-day face to face course.
