Andie has an extensive background in provider services (starting as a part-time handyperson in Walsall in 1983), developing and managing supported living services, and more recently in service planning, commissioning, and carers support. A range of experience, including management and facilitation; still focussed on delivery, integration, and the consequent benefits to communities as a whole, alongside an increasing and personal understanding of carers issues.

Now working to meet the needs of provider services both within and outside the direct Council workforce; a role including assessing current demand and future challenges, and the commissioning, design, and direct delivery of learning oppportunities, Andie also maintains his commitment to destigmatisation and spreading awareness of mental health issues to staff and citizens, and has resumed a role in considering the training needs about, and for, 'informal' carers.
